Movies make us cry all the time. Movie trailers, on the other hand, don't typically elicit such strong reactions. Unless they're for the forthcoming biopic Jackie, starring Natalie Portman as Jaqueline Kennedy.
Set in the immediate aftermath of John F. Kennedy's assassination, Jackie sees its titular character coming to grips with the loss of her husband while caring for her young children and keeping up outward appearances. Based on the trailer, the film (and Portman's performance) is intense, sad and a total must-see.
Jackie opens in select theaters on December 2.
