The trailer offers a glimpse into Lupin part two, which picks up right where we left off. You know, with Assane Diop (Omar Sy) trying to expose the crimes of Hubert Pelligrini (Hervé Pierre), who kidnapped his son.
There’s a slight problem: The police are onto Assane, who’s now the “most wanted man in France.” So, he’s forced to lay low, all while preparing for his next move.
“I was framed,” he says in the clip. “And I’m not guilty.”
In addition to Sy and Pierre, Lupin also stars Nicole Garcia (Anne), Clotilde Hesme (Juliette), Ludivine Sagnier (Claire), Antoine Gouy (Benjamin), Shirine Boutella (Sofia) and Soufiane Guerrab (Youseff). The series (which is inspired by Maurice Leblanc’s French detective novels) is created by George Kay (Killing Eve) in collaboration with François Uzan (Paper Souls).
Lupin part two will consist of five action-packed episodes, all of which will hit Netflix on June 11. If you need us, we’ll be re-watching the first five installments.
