Lacey Chabert has been dubbed the “Queen of Hallmark,” and with 30 movies under her belt, there’s no denying this title.
PureWow recently spoke with the Mean Girls actress to discuss her partnership with Kelley Blue Book and Autotrader, who are helping to make the holiday season brighter with road trip tips and tricks at HolidayinDrive.com.
During the chat, she also opened up about her long relationship with Hallmark. Even though she loves all of the films, her favorite will always be the ones centered around the holidays.
“I'm about to finish my 30th movie with Hallmark,” she said. “It's hard to believe, I never would have thought. The first one I did was called Elevator Girl, and I never would have known that after all these years that I would end up doing so many. It's been a real honor to be a part of the Hallmark family. The Christmas ones are really special to me. I am a holiday person, and I love Christmas so much. I have my own favorite movies that I watch. So, I get really excited when people say one of my movies has become part of their yearly traditions. I think the Christmas ones are closest to my heart, but I also enjoy the other holidays that we get to bring to life and other stories about family and romance.”
And even though her latest holiday film, Christmas at Castle Hart, just dropped last month, she already has another flick on the way. Actually, make that three.
“On January 8, I have The Wedding Veil premiering,” Chabert revealed. “It's a trilogy of movies, which I was really excited to be a part of. For the first time, I got to work with one of my friends from the network. Each of our characters has their own film and then we appear in each other's movies. It's about a magical wedding veil, at the heart of it though it's really about friendship.”
