Are you already looking forward to Netflix’s upcoming series Marriage or Mortgage? Well (good news!), there’s another streaming option that’s coming to the service—but this time, it’s scripted.
Introducing Just Say Yes, which is pretty much a cross between Runaway Bride and Bridesmaids. Netflix just dropped the first official trailer for the highly anticipated film, and it’s bound to make any wedding fiasco seem minor in comparison.
In the clip, we’re introduced to Lotte (Yolanthe Cabau), a blushing bride-to-be. Just like every other girl, she’s always dreamt of planning the wedding of her dreams. After doing just that, her groom gets cold feet and calls it off, turning her entire life upside-down.
Just Say Yes documents the events leading up to the canceled nuptials, along with the aftermath Lotte must face as an abandoned bride. Oh, and don’t worry—it’s a comedic plot, so it pokes fun at the situation in a lighthearted manner.
In addition to Cabau, the movie also stars Jim Bakkum, Noortje Herlaar, Nienke Plas, Tino Martin, Kim-Lian van der Meij, Josylvio and Pip Pellens.
It’s important to note that the trailer for Just Say Yes takes rom-com cheesiness to a whole new level. However, if you can handle flash mobs, thrown drinks and over-the-top acting, then we highly recommend adding it to your streaming queue.
Just Say Yes will hit Netflix on April 2.
