The comedian is currently worth $50 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Not surprisingly, his Jimmy Kimmel Live earnings account for a huge portion of that figure. In 2016, Kimmel was included on Forbes’s list of the highest-paid TV hosts in the world, having made a whopping $12 million that year.

However, it comes as no surprise, given that he currently holds the title for the longest-tenured late-night TV host who’s currently on the air. He told NPR, "I don't know how this happened...it's weird to be the oldest guy, but I guess I am. The institution I admired was David Letterman. [And] I never compare myself favorably to Dave.
