In the photo, the trio are sitting in what appears to be the Gryffindor Common Room, as People points out. Although their chairs are spaced six feet apart, it seems nothing—other than age—has changed between Grint, Watson and Radcliffe.
We first learned about Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts last month when HBO confirmed the O.G. cast would come together. “The retrospective special will tell an enchanting making-of story through all-new in-depth interviews and cast conversations, inviting fans on a magical first-person journey through one of the most beloved film franchises of all time,” the press release read.
Earlier this month, HBO released the first official trailer for the reunion, which features Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid) and Matthew Lewis (Neville) receiving their invitations to return to Hogwarts. Without hesitation, both actors make their way to Platform 9 ¾, where the adventure seemingly begins.
Several other cast members are expected to join the reunion, including Helena Bonham Carter, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton, Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Evanna Lynch and Ian Hart.
Reunited, and it feels so good.
