HBO Max Already Renewed ‘Euphoria’ for Season 3—Here’s What We Know

If you’ve already binge-watched Euphoria season 2, you’re probably wondering what’s next for Rue and co. Luckily, HBO Max has already renewed the popular series for another installment.

1. When is Euphoria season 3 set to premiere?

Unfortunately, HBO Max hasn’t announced a premiere date for Euphoria season 3. However, production is supposed to begin in February 2023.

According to Francesca Orsi (executive vice president of HBO Programming), the decision to renew Euphoria was a no-brainer.

“Sam [Levinson], Zendaya and the entire cast and crew of Euphoria have taken season 2 to extraordinary heights, challenging narrative convention and form, while maintaining its heart,” she said in a statement. “We couldn’t be more honored to work with this gifted, wildly talented team or more excited to continue our journey with them into season 3.”

2. What is Euphoria about?

Euphoria tells the story of a troubled teenager named Rue, who’s struggling to balance her social life and high school. HBO Max’s official synopsis reads, “Amidst the intertwining lives in the town of East Highland, 17-year-old Rue (Zendaya) must find hope while balancing the pressures of love, loss and addiction.”

3. Who stars in Euphoria?

Several original cast members are expected to reprise their roles, including Zendaya (Rue), Hunter Schafer (Jules), Nika King (Leslie), Eric Dane (Cal), Angus Cloud (Fezco), Jacob Elordi (Nate), Algee Smith (Chris), Sydney Sweeney (Cassie), Alexa Demie (Maddy), Barbie Ferreira (Kat), Maude Apatow (Lexi), Javon Walton (Ashtray), Dominic Fike (Elliot), Storm Reid (Gia) and Austin Abrams (Ethan).
