1. What Is ‘emily In Paris’ About?

The series follows Midwestern native Emily, played by Lily Collins, as she moves to Paris to work at a French marketing company.

According to a press release, Emily’s new Parisian life is “filled with intoxicating adventures and surprising challenges.” Along the way, she’ll be “winning over her work colleagues, making friends and navigating new romances.”

Last week, Collins opened up on Instagram about her experience filming the show. “Missing friends, working, traveling, and especially—so this couldn’t come at a better time,” she captioned a first look photo from series. “I’m so grateful for the lifelong friendships I made working on this show and am incredibly proud of what we all created. Cannot wait for you guys to finally see it!...”

2. When Does It Premiere?

There's no official release date as of yet. However, the streaming service revealed in mid-June that Emily in Paris would hit its platform sometime in fall 2020.

“MTV Studios and I couldn’t hope for a more perfect home for Emily In Paris than Netflix," creator Darren Star said in a statement. “With their international reach, we are excited to share Emily with audiences around the world."

3. Who’s In It?

It actually features an international cast.

Aside from Collins, American series regulars include Ashley Park (Tales of the City), William Abadie (The Pink Panther) and Arnaud Viard (Clara et Moi), as well as Kate Walsh (Grey's Anatomy) who will play Emily’s mentor.

French actors Philippine Leroy Beaulieu, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Camille Razat and Bruno Gouery also star.

4. Is There A Trailer?

Unfortunately not. But we’re crossing our fingers for one in the not-too-distant-future. And considering the show is slated to be released this fall, there’s only a few more months (or should we say weeks) left for teasers to be released.

All we’re saying is that we have slightly high expectations for this one.
