In the clip, we see our leads battle a mass of the undead who look like they don't play around. "They're not what you think they are. They're smarter. They're faster. They're organized," one character says.
Netflix's official synopsis reads: “Following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.”
The cast is led by former WWE wrestler and Avengers star Dave Bautista. He is joined by Ella Purnell (Churchill), Omari Hardwick (The A-Team), Ana de la Reguera (Eastbound & Down), Theo Rossi (Sons of Anarchy), Matthias Schweighöfer (Valkyrie), Nora Arnezeder (Riviera), Raúl Castillo (Looking) and Hiroyuki Sanada (Westworld).
Army of the Dead is based on a story by director Zack Snyder, and he wrote the screenplay along with Shay Hatten and Joby Harold. Snyder also produced the film with his wife, Deborah, as well as Wesley Coller.
We know what we'll be watching this weekend. And there's apparently already a prequel in the works, so we will hopefully have more zombie mayhem to enjoy in the near future.
