You know when you’re excited to learn something new--but then realize you’re the last person in the entire world to know it? That’s pretty much how we felt when we discovered that “BAE” is actually an acronym for “before anyone else” and not a supremely lazy way to shorten “babe.”
Turns out, lots of people are baffled by teen slang. Take this group of professors from Lehigh University who were quizzed on the lexicon of today’s youth. Their answers just may hit a little too close to home.
