Real-Life Superhero Alert: Hugh Jackman Rescues Kids From Dangerous Riptide
Damn, he’s buff
Cue the beach rescue: This weekend, Hugh Jackman was soaking up the Australian sun at Sydney’s Bondi Beach when he spotted several swimmers--including his 15-year-old son Oscar--caught in a dangerous riptide.
So, the dreamy X-Men star did what his on-screen alter ego would do: He swam fast and hard (most likely relying on his rock hard abs) into the surf and rescued not just his son, but other young swimmers, too.
Once he knew that the kids were safe, Hugh alerted nearby swimmers with a powerful signal understood by superheroes everywhere: He ran up and down the sandy shore and waved his arms back and forth.
