My skin can be oily, dry and flaky all in one day—a pretty tough trio to target. So when I discovered Pure Aura’s line of peel-off masks, I was hesitant to get my hopes up. But the minimalistic packaging, textures and fun colors of the masks drew me in, and needless to say, I was thrilled when I actually saw results.
Pure Aura is a Korean skin-care brand with a line of products that are made with real, raw ingredients like flower extracts and honeysuckle, along with a special blend of 23 natural herbs from Korea. The K-beauty brand offers six peel-off masks that target everything from dry, rough skin to oily skin prone to acne. These peel-off masks are designed for quick absorption of the calming, nourishing ingredients while removing those dead skin cells that contribute to that dull complexion.
So, to work my own combination skin, I mixed-and-matched two different masks on my problem areas. I applied the Hologram Peel-Off Mask on my cheeks and forehead (the areas of my skin that usually appear very dull and dry) and the Glitter Peel-Off Mask on my nose and chin, where I usually get very oily. This resulted in a gorgeous and colorful mask that I could have easily worn to be any Euphoria character for Halloween, but instead, I left it on for about 25 minutes and then gently rubbed against my skin as I washed it off. The result? A smooth, even complexion that’s given me new life, which has earned these glittery masks a permanent place on my vanity.
The peel-offs in the collection range from $12 to about $39, depending on whether you’re picking up an individual mask or a set catered to target skin concerns. Oh, and I’m eyeing the foil masks to try next.
