Olaplex Dry Shampoo Is Officially for Sale—and Reviewers Are *Obsessed* with Its Results

We're no strangers to Olaplex. We actually tested the brand's Hair Perfector No. 3, which helps repair damaged strands, and have been stocking up ever since. We're also partial to dry shampoos, which boost volume and texture. But it wasn't until January 31 that we could get our hands on an Olaplex dry shampoo. Yes, you read that right. Your favorite haircare brand just welcomed its newest addition: No. 4D, a clean volume detox dry shampoo that buyers are saying is totally weightless and residue-free.

Aside from the fact that it's supposed to detoxify the scalp and hair using rambutan seed extract, micro starch and the brand's Bond Building technology, it's apparently so good at cleansing that shoppers are saying they'll basically never need to wash their hair again.

While we have mixed feelings about how long you should go without washing your hair (seriously, check out what happened when one PureWow editor didn't wash hers for a week), we're totally on board with the new dry shampoo that is already making waves on TikTok.

So what sets Olaplex's dry shampoo from others, you ask? The most impressive thing about 4D is that it doesn't leave any white residue behind and doesn't clog your pores, according to reviewers. The brand's Bond Building technology is also supposed to help repair damage in the process, which it does, said reviewers.

"This has totally changed the game for me! The best part for me is it leaves my hair feeling fresh, not dry and damaged. It also has a great smell, unlike other dry shampoos. It feels light and doesn’t collect in my scalp," notes one Sephora shopper.

If you work out a lot or are training your hair to go longer between washes or hoping to reduce your hair's oil production, buyers say the vegan, gluten- and cruelty-free product (which comes in recyclable packaging) is a sure thing.
