Magnetic Shadow Is the Smoky Eye of the Future
Eye shadow looks great on, but there is no denying that it can get messy. One generous sweep can leave a trail of soot-colored flecks across the top of your cheek—where they’ll sit until an unconscious eye rub turns them into a full-on raccoon situation.
And though you could be more diligent about prepping your lids with primer, wouldn’t it be great if everything just stayed in place?
Enter MAC’s new Spellbinder Shadows. The magnetically charged pigments are fused together before they’re potted and they actually cling to your skin (and the jar itself) so there’s less fallout (or spillage) all around.
Not to mention, the texture is insane. Somewhere between crushed velvet and buttery suede, it feels downright plush against your fingertip when you press into the powder. To apply, just pat the color directly onto your lids and build up the intensity to your liking.
So, where can you get your hands on the stuff? The eight limited-edition shadows are available only until December 1, online and in stores, for $22 a pop. (Perhaps a little early holiday gift to yourself?)
