The tie between what you eat and how you look is hardly a new concept. In fact, it has consumed (see what we did there?) our thoughts and morning routines for decades now. But this month, two brands are marrying the idea in a whole new way.
Clinique has partnered with trendy Danish chain Joe & The Juice to create a limited-edition vitamin C-packed juice meant to highlight the beauty brand’s new Fresh Pressed skin-care system—a powder cleanser and daily booster that de-ages your skin with pure vitamin C.
When used in skin care, vitamin C can brighten, even and re-texturize skin (the Fresh Pressed system does it in just seven days). Dietarily, absorbing vitamin C can help repair tissue and build collagen (also fantastic for your skin).
“[Clinique’s] custom-fit approach to skin care is aligned with how we service our customers,” says Joe & The Juice founder Kaspar Basse of the collaboration. “We looked into creating a juice with a high amount of vitamin C [and] we settled on a great mix of carrot, ginger, lemon and apple. The synergistic nature of the ingredients works to help increase the absorption of the vitamin C from the juice,” says Basse.
The bright-orange will be available at Joe & The Juice locations throughout New York City—just the thing to help you out of your breakfast (and winter) rut.
