Eagle-eyed fans of The White Lotus may recognize this cut from season two of the show, as it was seen on Lucia (the impossibly chic Sicilian escort, played by 28-year-old actress Simona Tabasco). Marked by an intentionally ruffled texture and flipped ends, the glamorous style also features plenty of volume and shine.
Before its turn on HBO, the Italian bob garnered buzz when Florence Pugh wore it to Cannes last summer. Typically cut just below the chin and above the shoulders, the Italian bob carries the bulk of its weight at the ends, so that your hair hugs the back of your neck.
Though the Italian bob works with most hair textures, it’s an especially good option for those with naturally thicker, wavier strands, given the cut’s bottom-heavy nature.
