There are many things about Gwyneth Paltrow we find wonderfully relatable—her love of cozy loungewear, the fact that she’s spent much of quarantine going makeup-free—but her beauty routine is not one of them (nor her diet, for that matter). Or so we thought. In a recent interview with Glamour, Paltrow discussed a wide array of beauty-centric topics like injectables, her GoopGenes collection and her three desert-island products.

Alongside her very own GoopGenes All-in-One Nourishing Face Cream and GoopGenes Nourishing Repair Body Butter (available on September 27), Paltrow listed hair conditioner as her third can't-live-without-it product. Unlike the other two, which will set you back $95 and $55 respectively, her go-to pick comes in under 10 bucks. As she told Glamour, “[hair conditioner] is where I’m the least clean beauty person on the planet. I go on Amazon and buy anything that says, like, “grow long hair.” Or I get drugstore deep conditioner; I have one from Marc Anthony, the Grow Long, that’s my favorite.”

Yes, the very same woman who created a $75 “This Smells Like My Vagina” candle is a fan of affordable drugstore hair conditioner. The Marc Anthony’s Grow Long formula is packed with caffeine, ginseng and vitamin E to help combat breakage and keep your strands looking healthy and luscious, no matter how long they get (a particularly good trait considering we’re no longer sure when we’ll next be able to visit the hair salon). The $8 conditioner is available at Target, Ulta and Walmart, as well as multiple drugstores like Rite Aid, CVS and Walgreens.

We may never feel as comfortable in a frilly naked dress and granny panties as Paltrow, but at least now we can emulate a part of her affordable haircare routine, with money left over for a matcha latte.
