Ever since Drew Barrymore launched Flower Beauty, we’ve been fans of her no B.S. approach to beauty. So naturally, we’ve been following along on her Instagram as she celebrates #BeautyJunkieWeek (an occasion that Barrymore herself created), by sharing some of her favorite products, tips and tricks.
And on Tuesday, we hit the jackpot. Barrymore took to IGTV to show us her drugstore hack for fighting dark circles: Olay Eyes Ultimate Eye Cream.
“This on its own not only acts as a concealer, brightening and lightening the effect and look of a dark circle, but it's also taming the dark circle while you're wearing it. It's sort of a perfect alchemy of skincare as makeup and I love this. It's my tried and true,” Barrymore gushes in the video.
In fact, Barrymore claims it works so well, she often wears it instead of actual concealer. But if you want to do the same, she has a warning: don’t layer real concealer on top. Doing so will cause the product to curdle, which is definitely not our desired look.
The rich pink tinted formula contains hydrating and reviving ingredients like B3 and peptides, as well as a hint of actual concealer to smooth and brighten the skin while masking dark under-eye circles.
