How to Curl Your Hair in the Most Natural-Looking Way
Relax those ringlets
You’ve finally nailed down that whole “wanding hair” thing, and you even know the secret hairspray trick (psst, don’t spray it directly onto your hair). But, being your virtual best friend and all, we wanted to let you in on another little tip we just learned. Here’s how to keep your locks looking more Kate Hudson and less Shirley Temple.
What you need: A wand or curling iron.
What you do: Alternate the direction you curl each section. So instead of curling all of your hair away from your face, you should actually do some pieces going toward your face.
Why it works: This method keeps the sections of hair separated for a more natural and beachy look, instead of wrapping around each other and forming perfect ringlets.
See? We’ve always got your back (and your curls and waves, too).
