Tomorrow is the last day of October. And after that, we promise: no more pumpkin talk. But first, there’s one thing you need to know about the gourd: It gives great facial. (Seriously: It hydrates, brightens and softens skin.) Listen up PSL fans: Pumpkin may be even better slathered on than sipped. Here are three local spa services that prove it.

Pumpkin Enzyme Facial at the Spa at Equinox: Available this fall, the service ($175 for 60 minutes) includes a gentle pumpkin-enzyme peel and a pumpkin treatment mask. While the mask does its thing, expect a mini shoulder massage complete with hot stones. After testing this service last week, we got the ultimate compliment (from a typically facial-blind dude, no less): “Your skin is glowing.” Available at Equinox’s Lincoln Park, Gold Coast and Highland Park locations; equinox.com

Yam and Pumpkin Enzyme Peel at Spa at the Wit: The downtown spa--home to the oh-so-dim-and-tranquil Whisper Lounge--will offer the seasonal facial in November. The treatment ($150 for 50 minutes; $200 for 80 minutes) uses a mild, vegan enzyme peel to firm up skin and give it a boost of radiance. And at the end, you’ll leave with a yam-and-pumpkin-enzyme peel. Available at 201 N. State St.; spaatthewit.com

Pumpkin Enzyme Facial at Spa at Dana: The River North spot is also using pumpkin to hydrate skin this season. Available through the fall, the pumpkin-infused facial ($140 for 50 minutes) includes the works--that’s everything from a double cleanse to a steam, extractions and facial, neck and shoulder massages. Another plus: The French products used in the service have a cozy, spicy-pumpkin scent. Available at 660 N. State St.; spaatdana.com
