Nirshberg’s favorite no-chip mani/pedi is at Ambra in the Gold Coast. High-quality polishes from the South African line Bio Sculpture stretch the length of her paint jobs, she says, saving her weekly trips to the salon.
La Fournette is a weekly destination for Nirshberg and her daughter, who can’t imagine a Saturday without the Old Town bakery’s coffee madeleines and hazelnut spritz cookies. It’s always authentically French, she says, down to bonjours from the baristas as you walk through the door.
Now that it's spring, Nirshberg and her daughter can’t get enough of the dreamy playground at the just-opened Maggie Daley Park, which she calls the city’s “new masterpiece.” Give it a whirl yourself, she says: climb up the giant fort and walk across the hanging bridge.
Ramen-San is just a few blocks from Nirshberg’s River North office, and there she can often be found tucking into a big bowl of kimchi ramen with fried chicken and sneaking bites of her daughter’s mac and cheese.
Yana Nirshberg knows a good thing when she sees it. As the creative director of the Chicago-based agency ParadigmNEXT, she tells companies how to get their digital game together--so she’s always thinking about what’s current, cool and relevant.
Nirshberg lives with her husband and daughter on the North Shore (East Glenview, to be exact) and spends her weekdays nailing deadlines in River North. Check out our slideshow for her regular haunts and secret hot spots.
