I’m currently auditing a course at a nearby university. I’m 34 but look much younger, and as a result a few of the college-aged boys in the class have started to hit on me. What do I do?
Youthful and beautiful? What a terrible problem to have! Assuming you’re not interested (and, alas, it sounds like you are not), just treat these young suitors as you would any man you’re turning down: act polite but decidedly non-flirty. If their advances persist--or if they plainly ask you out--let them know that you’re flattered but not looking for a relationship at the moment. It also never hurts to throw in a reference to your 1990s high school days.
