Things that are awesome: A concert with friends at the Garden.
Things that aren’t: A singular person (usually you, the responsible one) coordinating the exact number of people, buying all the tickets and then scrounging around for paybacks.
Enter Host Committee. It’s about to change your social life.
Here’s what you do: Go on the site, find a fun event (say, Roger Federer’s upcoming tennis showdown at the Garden) and become a “host.” Invite your friends and let each person pay on their own. (Host Committee will seat you all together.)
Now, this is where it gets good. The more friends you bring, the more awesome extras you get. For the night with Federer, the host who brings the most people gets to hang out at a cocktail party beforehand with the 17-time Grand Slam champion.
Other upcoming events range from A. Rod (Yankees versus Red Sox, baby, with a free swag bag) to the exact opposite--Derek Hough and high kicks (Radio City’s Spring Spectacular with Uber rides on the house).
It pays to be popular.
