Makes 1 serving

½ to ¾ cup milk (such as whole, skim, almond, soy or coconut)

1 tablespoon maple syrup

⅓ cup yogurt

3 tablespoons sliced almonds

¼ cup blueberries

1. Pour the oats into a 1-pint mason jar.

2. In a small bowl, mix the milk with the maple syrup. (If you prefer a thicker oatmeal, use less milk.)

3. Pour the milk mixture into the jar. Screw on the lid and refrigerate overnight, about 8 hours.

4. In the morning, top the oatmeal with the yogurt, sliced almonds and blueberries. Eat immediately or screw the top on and take it on the go.
