  • Work closely with Product Director & key stakeholders to build products that will drive growth across audience and revenue.
  • Work with Product Director to lead product definition and successfully maintain and execute on the product roadmap by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Successfully own and execute on all facets of the product lifecycle from ideation to production; to include post release strategy (e.g. A/B testing, user testing, iterate based on data, etc.)

Digital Ad Trafficker and Inventory Manager

We're looking for someone who can work in the New York City office, ideally has a minimum of 1 year of ad trafficking and/or digital media sales planning. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Perform all aspects of traffic management, including implementation, testing, deployment, delivery, and optimization of ad campaigns.
  • Support the SVP of Sales & Operations, Business Development Managers and Operations team.
  • Take ownership and provide technical support on new and existing issues.
  • Be a subject matter expert on all ad server implementations and integrations (data, programmatic, remnant, etc).
  • Advertising campaign support, including: Ad trafficking; Campaign monitoring, optimizing, & reporting; Invoicing and payment tracking.
  • Email Trafficking – Daily testing and scheduling of PureWow emails across all editions.
  • Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions from the results.
  • Work closely with sales coordinator to provide account support for ad campaigns, both pre-sales and post-sales
  • Provide technical support for sales and engineering teams to help troubleshoot problems creatively.
  • Act as liaison with the sales marketing team to test and evaluate new types of ad products before they are made available to sellers. Perform QA for all campaigns that go live.
  • Ensure smooth delivery of campaigns by maintaining and distributing pacing reports.
  • Develop optimization strategies on a campaign-by-campaign basis to maximize both yield and advertiser performance.
  • Troubleshoot ad serving issues, discrepancies and reporting issues.
  • Maintain ad specs/acceptable technologies for all digital products.

Qualifications and Expectations:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • 1+ year experience in ad ops and/or media sales planning
  • Very familiar with third party ad servers, such as DFP, DART, Atlas, OpenX, etc. (we use DFP, so direct DFP experience is preferred) Excellent MS Excel skills, and know your way around other MS Office products (Word, Powerpoint)
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Strong analytics, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Positive attitude, and a genuine interest in working in a start-up environment and wearing multiple hats as needed

  • Collaborate with New Jersey based backend development team to ensure all systems are in-sync, efficient and continually optimized for performance.

Qualifications:

PureWow internships are unpaid but structured to give the interns maximum exposure to an online publishing operation, our goal being to provide them with solid experience that will quickly help them find paid work.
