Branded Content Editor

Responsibilities:

Social Media Director (Facebook)

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, this role works closely with editorial, audience development and design with the goal of audience growth and engagement on both of these platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Content strategy: Establish a unique platform specific content strategy for Pinterest and Instagram that will make PureWow stand out in a crowded space. Develop new and innovative ways to engage our audience with content.

  • Content creation: Work closely with a social designer to create new platform specific assets. Leverage existing evergreen content to create new Pinterest and Instagram assets from that content. Oversee the process and creation of all editorial assets for these platforms - up to 20 pieces of content per day. Mine the platform daily for new story ideas.

  • Content scheduling: schedule/publish content strategically on Pinterest and Instagram to maximize discoverability and engagement of existing and new content. Use 3rd party analytics tools to monitor, report and iterate on performance.

  • Influencers: Establish relationships with platform specific influencers for content curation and syndication.

  • Trends: Become an expert on seasonal social trends on Pinterest and Instagram. Develop content strategies to make PureWow content standout within those trends.  

Measurement

This role will be measured on audience growth and engagement. Specifically:

  • Conceive, shoot, edit and produce fashion, lifestyle and brand videos for Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms
  • Work with creative team members on ways to visually enhance videos

Director of Communications

As ​the Dir. of Communications at PureWow, you will be an integral member of the Corporate team, reporting to the Editor In Chief. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a proactive print, digital, and broadcast strategy to raise of the profile of PureWow and editors among key audiences. You will be accountable for creating thoughtful, timely stories, promoting PureWow's talent on relevant broadcast outlets, and developing strategies for evaluating and pitching breaking news stories.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with Sales and Sales Marketing teams to participate in ideation and development of marketing programs/platforms, both proactively and in response to RFPs
  • Assisting in RFP response process, including working closely with Sales, Sales Marketing and Creative Services teams to help develop proposals and manage deadlines
  • Working closely with Sales Marketing and Creative Services team to develop, update and maintain sales materials, sell sheets and media kit materials
  • Assisting with development and execution of custom digital/mobile marketing programs, including strong communication with Production, Edit and Creative teams

Account Manager

The main objective of this position is to manage the ad campaign lifecycle, including optimization, reporting and needed improvements to the campaign to deliver results.  The Account Manager partners with the sales, design, editorial, product and marketing teams to manage the technical issues and performance goals surrounding campaigns.  He or she drives results in order to support customer retention.  The Account Manager is responsible for building revenue through superior campaign management and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to PureWow’s customer partnerships and campaigns
  • Work in conjunction with sales to gain a clear understanding of clients’ goals and objectives pre-campaign launch.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Frequently communicate with client providing them with relevant updates, timelines, assets for approval and reporting. Ultimately providing best in class customer service and increasing repeat business.

  • Managing the sales cycle from start to finish (prospecting, identifying contacts, creating proposals, generating Insertion Orders, securing advertiser collateral, inputting collateral in the admin, and results reporting).
  • Creating outbound sales campaigns to increase awareness of PureWow among the advertising community (agencies & client-direct) to generate and grow new business.
  • Prospecting and penetrating medium to large size organizations ("Top 2000" advertisers, major sub-brands and Advertising Agencies) to help secure RFP's and advertising dollars.
  • Creating persuasive sales presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel detailing market trends, case studies and marketing solutions.
  • Analyzing campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions from the results.
  • Working to develop effective sales strategies and advertising sales proposals for continued site revenue growth.

Qualifications and Expectations: 

  • Minimum of 3 years digital media sales experience
  • A high energy level is required
  • Great with computers (Mac experience preferred), including word processing (Google Docs and/or Word), spreadsheets (Google Docs and/or Excel), and general internet savvy
  • Fast learner
