We're looking for someone who ideally has a minimum of 1 year of advertising operations and/or digital media sales planning experience. Responsibilities:

  • Manage trafficking and ad serving vendor (Operative) to ensure all display advertising is pacing and optimized.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Support the EVP, sales and operations teams.
  • Provide data-based insights to demonstrate the value of campaign performance.
  • Work closely with sales coordinator to provide account support for ad campaigns, both pre-sales and post-sales.
  • Provide technical support for sales and engineering teams to help troubleshoot problems creatively.
  • Act as liaison with the sales marketing team to test and evaluate new types of ad products before they are made available to sellers.
  • Perform QA and capture screenshots for all campaigns that go live.
  • Ensure smooth delivery of campaigns by maintaining and distributing internal pacing reports.
  • Provide campaign reporting to clients on a request basis as well as compile final reporting for all campaigns.
  • Develop optimization strategies on a campaign-by-campaign basis to maximize both yield and advertiser performance.
  • Troubleshoot ad serving issues, discrepancies and reporting issues.
  • Maintain ad specs/acceptable technologies for all digital products.


Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • 1+ year experience in ad ops and/or media sales planning
  • Familiarity with third party ad servers, such as DFP, DART, Atlas, OpenX, etc. (we use DFP, so direct DFP experience is preferred)
  • Excellent MS Excel skills, and know your way around other MS Office products (Word, Powerpoint)
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Strong analytics, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Positive attitude, and a genuine interest in working in a start-up environment and wearing multiple hats as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Product Director & key stakeholders to build products that will drive growth across audience and revenue.
  • Work with Product Director to lead product definition and successfully maintain and execute on the product roadmap by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Successfully own and execute on all facets of the product lifecycle from ideation to production; to include post release strategy (e.g. A/B testing, user testing, iterate based on data, etc.)
  • Work with Data Analyst to evaluate performance of product updates and provide Product Director with suggested strategies for products or enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of product experience
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem solving skills
  • Proficient with web and/or product design
  • Excellent verbal communication, organization and reasoning skills
  • Knowledgable with UX/UI design
  • Extremely tech savvy and familiar with the development space / best practices
  • Experience using wireframe tools

 Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with remote based backend development team to ensure all systems are in-sync, efficient and continually optimized for performance.
  • Build, evolve and scale out current CMS and site infrastructure
  • Jump between architecture, implementation, and infrastructure management
  • Solve various optimization and constraint roadblocks
  • Integrate with various external APIs (i.e. social media platforms, email CMS, etc.)
  • Constantly improve our development processes to streamline the ideation to execution process

Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years experience

PureWow is a rapidly growing digital media company that delivers women’s lifestyle content to elevate the everyday. We are seeking a Senior Communications Manager for the New York City office.

As ​the Dir. of Communications at PureWow, you will be an integral member of the Corporate team, reporting to the Editor In Chief. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a proactive print, digital, and broadcast strategy to raise of the profile of PureWow and editors among key audiences. You will be accountable for creating thoughtful, timely stories, promoting PureWow's talent on relevant broadcast outlets, and developing strategies for evaluating and pitching breaking news stories.

This is a high-energy job requiring persistent and persuasive interactions with members of the media and key PureWow editors, producers, and writers. You’ll use your skills and expertise to identify press-worthy editorial content and topics, develop daily, weekly, and monthly pitching strategies, and conduct regular outreach to relevant producers, show bookers, reporters, and editors to garner media coverage of video and written content across PureWow.

​Responsibilities​

  • Build and maintain a strong knowledge of the PureWow brand.
  • M​eet with a bevy of reporters and producers across all mediums in order to get PureWow in as many relevant conversations as possible and generally moving the needle on brand awareness.
  • Secure print and online press mentions.
  • Secure television appearances across both consumer-facing and business-facing outlets for the Editor-in-Chief and the CEO.
  • Work across every department at PureWow--editorial, sales, marketing, product and creative​-- to dig up relevant and engaging stories to bring to the press.
  • Secure speaking engagements for the Editor-in-Chief and CEO.
  • Be an integral part of PureWow's innovative (and crazy-fun) events team, orchestrating the company's private and consumer-facing events.

​Minimum Qualifications​:

  • BS/BA in Communications or a related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in public relations and communications with a proven record of pitching and securing story placements and broadcast appearances.
  • Basic understanding of news cycles and digital media landscape.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

​Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience (agency and/or in-house) in public relations and communications.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience working with digital media companies.
  • Established relationships with reporters and producers at leading media outlets across a variety of verticals (entertainment, news, advertising, business, lifestyle, etc.).
  • Proven record of delivering PR results.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital communications tactics and strategy.
