1. Statement Blooms (that Aren't Succulents)

Succulents: They had a good run. And not to say that they're out completely, but you always want to be ahead of the curve, right? Well, then choose a high-impact exotic bloom like the protea here. It's still pink and lovely but ever so slightly resembles a Venus flytrap...in a chic way.

2. Cascading Bouquets

Tight, round rose bouquets have been done. Let your greenery go wild for a fresher approach. Just be cautious about using too many colors; otherwise, it can overwhelm your dress.

3. Tight Wildflower Bouquets

On the other hand, a teeny bundle of natural stock is another way to shake things up. There are two ways to approach this look: varied and colorful; or simple and mono-botanical (meaning just a handful of sweet lavender).

4. Garland Centerpieces

Tall vases are out; low tablescapes are in. But you don't even have to coordinate clustered arrangements. You can run a string of eucalyptus leaves down your tables and call it a day.

5. Cheeky Vessels

Speaking of low arrangements: If you do them, why not think outside the mercury-glass hurricane vase? Don't try too hard (lemons floating in glass...get outta here). But a sprinkling of fresh pineapple hucks is shockingly cool.

6. Flower Walls

Some credit Kim and Kanye, but really it was Christian Dior's 2012 haute couture show that introduced flower walls. (If you haven't seen Dior and I, which films them all, you really must.) Use one as the ceremony altar, the photo-booth background or, hell, even both.

7. Jewel-tone Colors

Blush and bashful will never not be popular. But rich and moody (with hints of copper) is the sophisticated new approach to color schemes.

8. Pops Of Coral

If you want somewhere in the middle, look to corals and deep oranges that add depth to your whites and pinks. They just so happen to also be trending hues right now.

9. Sprig Accents

Does your place setting need a tiny, loose frond? No. Does it make your guests smile the instant they get to their seats? Mmmhmmm.

10. Subtle Uses Of Baby's Breath

Going with the sprig theme, you might be surprised to hear that baby's breath is back! But never again with red roses. Keep the sweet little stock to itself and use it to dress up, say, your elegant low chignon.
