Las Vegas, watch your back. Atlantic City may be giving Sin City a run for its money, thanks to Revel, the new 47-story, full-service resort that’s calling the AC boardwalk home.
For starters, guests can’t help but notice the high-tech nature of the place. Each of the 1,800 rooms features an Android tablet with access to the hotel’s directory, plus a remote that controls just about everything else--in-room temperature, window shades, lighting and room service.
The luxurious rooms are just the beginning: Wellness seekers rejoice at the 32,000-square-foot Exhale Bask Spa, where one can indulge in power facials ($225) and four-handed massages ($280) or opt for the salt grotto bathhouse and mineral pools. Alternately, you can earn your relaxation by sweating it out at a beachside Core Fusion, yoga or SurfSET session.
Want a little more vice than virtue? The all-encompassing casino promises to keep the gambling crew satisfied with slot machines, tables games and more. Meanwhile, food lovers can go to town at any of the resort’s 14 restaurants, including those specializing in Riviera cuisine and Spanish tapas.
