New York Kayak Company Surfing in the city is hard to find, but stand-up paddleboarding? No problem. For two hours every Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday, novices can take New York Kayak Company’s easy classes ($100 each) on the Hudson. The workout is great and, if you can stay upright, you’ll probably catch some pretty amazing views.
