THE BIG CHILL
Easy ways to revamp your fridge
If you think the only solution for a tired refrigerator is buying a new one, maybe it's time to get creative. Here are four ways to give whatever you've got a face-lift (no installation required):
1. You use wall stickers on your, well, walls, so why not fridge stickers in your kitchen? Hu2's version ($44) is our favorite, but we also love the more playful offerings from StickerForever ($10 to $77). This Save the Penguin decal ($15) speaks for itself.
2. A similar (though more easily changeable) option are Kudu Magnets ($80), which are made to the dimensions of your fridge and easily snap into and out of place. We particularly like the flaking wood, see u and first street designs.
3. Go more permanent and DIY by turning part or all of your refrigerator into a blackboard. All you need are two coats of green or black chalkboard paint ($14) to achieve this restaurant-chic look.
4. Wallpaper is definitely the most time-consuming option, but when done right, it looks incredible. Walnut's vintage-inspired prints ($200 a roll) would all work well, but really any pattern you like is enough to give instant pop.
