BIGGER IS BETTER
Statement rings pack a punch
Oh, to be a celebrity at an awards show: the gorgeous gown, the paparazzi calling your name, the glittering baubles on loan...
You see, there are benefits to being un-famous. For one, when you adorn your index fingers with statement rings--oversize rings in bright, playful colors--just like all the celebs are doing, you never have to give them back.
Even when we don't have a red-carpet event to attend, we love statement rings as an easy, inexpensive way to pack more style-punch into any outfit.
Take a cue from the women of last week's Golden Globes: Natalie Portman's rosy glow--and the flower appliqué on her dress--were both winners, so we think this Kate Spade Date Night floral ring ($55) is too.
If you could focus away from Sofia Vergara's to-die-for body or Lea Michelle's pink poof, their turquoise and cabochon rings were a good place to look. We like this great combo of the two ($45) from Skinny Style.
And since green was the color of the evening, Juicy's Stone Cluster Cab ring ($80) is right on the money.
