Fast-fashion essentials, courtesy of COS
Wear it now. Wear it five years from now.

You shop at Zara for runway-inspired prints, Topshop for cutting-edge silhouettes and H&M for all the trendy pieces in between. You’ve got your fast-fashion game on lock.

But what about the essentials? That’s where COS comes in.

A sister brand to H&M, COS (short for Collection of Style) is like Jil Sander meets Tibi, but with prices that rival your affordable standbys.

Until recently, COS was only found overseas, where, since 2007, they’ve been developing their empire of minimalist staples designed to live beyond each season (no Pantone-streaked dresses here). Lucky for us, the brand has finally jumped the pond, launching a U.S. e-commerce site just last week. So now it’s “good-bye, plane tickets” and “hello, free shipping.”

The current collection has everything from crisp button-downs ($89) to high-concept midi skirts ($115) and is expertly curated, making it easy to shop. We’ve got our eye on a pair of strappy block heels ($135) and a killer maxi dress ($135), but we wouldn’t be mad if a couple of boxy tanks ($19) snuck their way into our cart.
