We’ve said it once and we’ll say it again: There is no cutoff age for wearing glitter. It’s fun, y’all. And this starry-night-inspired eye look (thanks to the help of professional makeup artist Erin Acker) requires only a few shimmery colors and a whole lot of attitude.

Step 1: Line your lower lash line with a purple liner.

Step 2: Now, grab your palette. Intensify the effect of the liner with a lighter purple eye shadow and add a cat-eye flick at the outer corners.

Step 3: Blend it all together with a brighter purple. Then clean everything up with concealer for a really sharp edge.

Step 4: Spritz some priming spray onto a flat eye shadow brush before using a medium brown shade to further line the cat-eye wing.

Step 5: And for the real celestial punch, dab a light teal shadow to the inner corners of your eye. Set phasers to stun.
