This Beauty Creator Travels Multiple Times a Month and She Won’t Leave the House Without *These*

Meet Jully Patel: an Indian-American beauty creator who spends the majority of her time jetsetting between her home in Atlanta, New York City for work, and whatever vacation destination has caught her eye. As you can imagine, she’s got her travel routine down to a science. We partnered with Patel and Burt’s Bees to discuss how the brand’s micellar facial towelettes have changed her skincare game.

Made with 70 percent upcycled cotton from the scraps left over from textile manufacturing (hello, circular economy!), the towelettes are tree-free and certified home compostable by TUV Austria*. Plus Burt’s Bees is Leaping Bunny certified and this product is formulated without parabens, phthalates, petrolatum or SLS. But they do contain micellar water, a purified water-based gentle cleanser that effectively removes makeup without stripping skin of helpful natural oils.

“Other wipes I’ve used are quite harsh and leave my skin feeling dry and irritated,” says Patel. “The Burt’s Bees Facial Towelettes are gentle and leave my skin feeling refreshed and hydrated while still removing my makeup. They’re also very soft which makes them glide over my skin easily without tugging it. For me, it’s all about how gentle they are. I also love the rose water scent,” she says.
